Compagnia RODISIO, an award-winning Italian and European company, will present a play about the lives of an elderly couple who have been together for many years, their story, and their love. The old man performs a puppet show for the old woman and sings love songs... Even though there are no lines, the rich expressions and movements of the characters bring happiness to the audience, and all ages of children and adults are invited to enjoy this production.

Yana and the Yeti

This beautiful story explores the friendship between a young immigrant, Yana, and a baby Yeti, Yeti-Boo. Yana is adopted by a family whose language she doesn't speak, leaving her isolated and lonely. She met Yeti-Boo in the dark forest and become friends. Exotic music and the marvelous movements of the puppets utterly captivate the audience. The use of a Gibberish language allows the audience to empathize with Yana's loneliness and the challenges of being unable to communicate.

Friday, November 7th at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM are primarily reserved for school group viewings. However, any available seats will be open to the general public.

A fox decides to start a business: he'll be your friend for 100 yen an hour. Can friendship really be bought? Will his business succeed? The exchange between the Fox and the Wolf asks us to consider what "friendship" truly is. This is a heartwarming based on two stories from the popular picture book series, "We Are Friends!"

For October 30th and 31st at 10:00 AM, these performances are primarily reserved for group viewings by kindergartens and nursery schools. However, general admission may be possible if seats are available. For more details on availability, please contact the Main Office.

We're bringing a huge selection of wooden toys for kids to enjoy. Build them up, break them down, and get completely lost in the fun!
Professionals based in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture, who work with wood education, produce play activities using the woods.

Please pay at the venue entrance reception on the day of the performance, no later than 20 minutes before the show start time.

Required Information: You must provide the name under which the reservation was made.
Entry Vouchers: You will receive an entry voucher according to the time of your payment.
Cancellation Policy: Any reservations not paid for 20 minutes prior to the performance start time will be automatically canceled.

Free shuttle
service
Reservations for the free shuttle service are accepted.
If you are traveling by plane or JR train, please take a bus from JR Matsue Station to Yaegaki Shrine. The free shuttle runs between the Yaegaki Shrine Bus Stop and the Shiinomi Theater (approx. 10-minute ride).
To book your shuttle, please inquire about the timetable and pickup location when you reserve your tickets.
Notice All audience, including children who meet the suggested viewing age and sit on a guardian's lap, require a ticket.
